I usually use iCal on the computer, or my mobile phone, or my PDA (or all three) for recording appointments. But I love nice desk calendars, too, and this is the one I bought this year, a "Piranesi" (an Italian architect in the 1700's) Taschen Diary.
Sitting on the back dock at work while we (Dave, Jeff, Kurt, Shane and I) watch the Blue Angels practice for the weekend air show. Or, they probably don't actually need to practice -- more likely, they're up there to drum up interest.
It was so hard to take good pictures of them. All I had was my phonecam, but I don't know if it would have been any different if I had the other one. They would just shoot up out of nowhere, and you didn't really have any idea which direction they would be coming from, and they're so fast that by the time I figured out where they were and pointed the camera, they were already gone, most of the time.
In bed with the laptop and the kitties at 10:37 on Sunday morning, listening to the rain outside, and thinking about breakfast.
