This sweet little cat spent two days with me in my office, and one night at home. He's since been adopted; I would have loved to have kept him, but my two cats wouldn't have taken to that very well. It was fun, though, and it's happy memory.
What are your weekend plans?
No plans, really, which is the way I like it. Well, actually, I guess I did plan to sleep in, but that didn't happen. Bob got up early, and I always have a really hard time going back to sleep after I wake up, and this morning I didn't even try. I went downstairs and got the laptop, then took it back up to bed where I lounged around for a couple of hours with the cats, reading blogs, answering email, just generally goofing off. The cats took turns lying underneath the lamp on the bedside table:
I went to the used bookstore, the pet store, Target, and the yarn store. I bought a set of tiny (size 0) doublepointed knitting needles at the yarn store, a couple of books and a 2007 calendar at the bookstore, and nothing at the pet store. I had gone in to buy cat food, and I had a $5 coupon, but when I got up to the register, the clerk told me that the coupon was only good on one thing, so the best she could do was give me one can of catfood ($.30) free! I said no thanks, and left the catfood on the counter, and left. One of those "cutting off your nose to spite your face" things, because of course I had to buy catfood somewhere else, but come on. What a stupid requirement.
